A day in Kindergarten and Pre-school

A day in the KG runs from 9:30-14:15.

Features of a typical day include:
- Free play (work with Montessori materials and other materials)
- Language circle
- Garden time
- Sport
- Singing, playing, reading aloud
- Language acquisition in small groups

Each group has its own arrival ritual, for example placing a stone with the child’s name on it in a basket means “I am here”. Additionally each group has a date ritual in which individual pearls are threaded up according to the colour of the season of the year. 

Birthdays are of course celebrated in the groups and there is a morning circle during which the children can tell stories about their weekend.

From 2:30 p.m. until 4 p.m. the children can take part in a language circle. Here they are taught German intensively in a playful manner in small groups of a maximum of 6 children.

Die für heute geplante Lehrerkonferenz wird auf nächsten Donnerstag, den 9.02. verschoben. Ihre Kinder haben dann nach der 6.Stunde Schulschluss, also um 13 Uhr.
