The week starts with a morning circle. The students talk about their weekend. After the holidays they report about special holiday experiences.
At the end of the week there is often a concluding circle, in which they discuss the week, if there were any problems in the class, which new things were learnt, what went well and what did not go so well.
The German lessons are divided, for example, into

English is taught more playfully in Year 1 with singing and much talking.
Afterwards systematic work with the schoolbook begins.
During free work a wide range of materials and books are available to the students. Work is carried out individually, in pairs or in small groups.
Material is available from the areas of German, Maths and Basic science.
The students work independently with these materials, practicing and revising certain topics (e.g. “spoken word” material on the topic “essay writing” in German.)
In addition during free work in Year 4 topics such as “Europe” are worked on in groups.
Students also work on presentation topics with books, and small theatre plays are practised during free work.
After school there is an opportunity to take part in various study groups, too.
