Europa-Schule is situated in Cairo’s eastern suburb of Kattameya about 18km from the Egyptian Museum.
Many schools are located in the vicinity like: Modern English School and the French Lycee International Balzac. The German University Cairo (GUC) is also very close.
This area offers fresh, clean air and the streets are free of traffic jams.
Our school premises cover a field of approx. 220 by 130m and only one third of this surface is currently covered by buildings and other facilities.

Existing buildings that are already in use:

- 1 Kindergarten
-   1 main building including Primary School and Gymnasium
-   3 sports grounds / soccer fields of different sizes
- 3 playgrounds for the little ones with playing equipment
- 1 small swimming pool
- various areas of different sizes for activities during breaks
- 1 cafeteria / canteen with outdoor seating

Buildings and facilities currently under construction:

-   1 separate building for the Gymnasium (expected to be used for the   2009/2010 school year)
- 1 big swimming pool
-   1 sports hall
- 1 open air stage

Even after finalizing the buildings that are currently under construction about 50 % of the total surface is still unused and awaits further extensions.
