Kindergarten
In Kindergarten and in the Pre-school the children take part in two day-trips per school year e.g. to a park with animals, to a farm, to the fire-brigade and other interesting places.
Sometimes parents accompany the excursions and the group enjoys a picnic, a short walk or playing together.
Primary School
In Years 1- 4 there are at least two day-trips per school year.
Destinations include for example the Pharaonic Village, the pyramids, the opera, theatre plays, the planetarium, the zoo, the Wadi Digla etc.
Whenever possible, the trips are linked directly to lessons. Sometimes they can also primarily help to reinforce the class community spirit.
On some trips the students can give a short talk which they have prepared themselves or answer questions on certain topics associated with the trip.
Gymnasium
From Year 5 onwards the students take part in a trip of several days (2-4 nights) once a school year.
Popular locations include Moon Beach, Alexandria, Oasis Siwa, Katharina convent, Sinai, Luxor etc.

class 8 and 9
The class teacher plans and organises the trip along with the class.
Various tasks of organisation and planning are allocated to different students.
If the subject is suitable, for example the trip to Luxor, then the students will work on different topics which they can then hold a talk on at the location.
As well as excursions there are also one or two day-trips during a school year. These trips can be linked to topics covered in lessons or used to reinforce the class spirit.
Destinations include the Sekem farm, the zoo, camel riding, the pyramids, the citadel, Alexandria, the planetarium etc.
Students as well as teachers have a lot of fun during the trips and excursions and have the opportunity to get to know each other better in an environment outside the classroom.
In addition students can learn to take on responsibilities for certain aspects of a journey or a trip outside of lessons.
